Ripped off!
1.0They took £250 off me for a room. Then cancelled the room and now 5 weeks later I still haven’t been refunded the money!

Disappointing
2.0The view from the front of the property was fantastic and the breakfast was acceptable.
− The room was tired and needed much maintenance. The carpet, bedding and furniture were marked and stained, there was no hot water for showers in the morning, the view was dreadful and we expected more for the money we paid. We booked this property based on the tv coverage and the standard was nothing like it obviously had been when run by the previous owner.
Lovely Wedding venue
8.0A very lovely wedding venue, all very well organised. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
− When we arrive to "book in" they told us we didn't have a room as it was a wedding, and the bride and groom would have booked out the whole venue. I'm guessing booking.com would know this is a wedding venue but still took my money. The staff had a chat with the bride (my niece) and groom to ask if it was ok to give us a room. We were given a suite that was very nice and very comfortable. It was just a little embarrassing in the beginning.
Nice hotel but very few facilities
6.0Breakfast was lovely but we arrived after a busy day to find that the hotel offers no evening meal had to go to local village
