− I loved the stay and staff!
Great convenient stop on the way to Kirkwood and South Lake Tahoe
10.0The room is much larger and comfortable than the standard motel room. The bathroom is very large, clean and modern. They even provide a welcome kit with water and snacks, useful if you plan to hike the next day (I did). There is a very nice area for playing and relaxing in the backyard. The room is very quiet despite proximity to US 50 (but you need to keep windows closed to enjoy silence)
− Everything was great. Just be careful that most places in Pollock Pines close at 20 (this is not a defect of the hote; just a warning for guests to plan ahead their evening). I found a good dinner at 50 Grand, a couple of miles away.
Highly recommended for a day trip with your dog.
10.0This place is perfect to take your dog on July 4th to avoid fireworks. No fireworks, no loud noises. There were many dogs there with their owners. The guests and the staff were friendly, almost like a family. The outdoor sitting area is clean and inviting, and well-lit at night.
− The balcony was nice, but it was not very clean. The motel is next to highway 50 and can be noisy if you open the sliding door.
