Booking.com dropped the ball
4.0− We placed our booking at booking.com and upon arrival was notified that 2 days prior Booking.com cancelled our Resevervation. The nice gentleman told us that booking.com gets the last dibs on the reservation and it was overbooked and we lost our reservation. I had reserved a 4 bedroom Presidential suite with a kitchen and a living room. Unfortunetly we were made to move locations to a hotel and given 2 rooms between the 10 of us. It was disappointing booking.com didn't follow through on the booking especially when i've paid in advance. Also disappointed that they didn't email me or contact me to let me know. I was given the option to either cancel and they would refund me (didn't say how long it would take to get the full refund) or take the 2 hotel rooms. I know these are very nice condos and would have enjoyed our long weekend away here but we were not given that experience. I was shocked that they were not apologetic nor did they care that we lost out on our moneys worth and took a downgrade on all forms.

4.0− They were trying to charge me full amount again due to lack of communication between the resort and the booking.com. And lastly the keys are given to you by a person who is trying to sell timeshare which took me another 15mins. Very pushy. Took me over 30mins to checkin.

4.0When we walked in the unit, you could see dirty footprints along the hardwood area. There were spider webs by the door going out to the hot tub. There was hair in both showers. There was popcorn on the floor in plain sight under the barstool. There was lip gloss in one of the bedroom drawers. Inside the fridge was dirty. The carpet was frayed pretty bad in the master bedroom. They only gave us one key unless we went to talk to someone about a timeshare. It's hard to think about getting a timeshare in a place that pays little attention to detail! The things we found were pretty gross!
