8.0Smart tv that had Netflix, YouTube etc. Clean rooms and convenient restaurants nearby. Supermarkets close by as well. You are not too far from yatais as well

Excellent location for the Peace Park and Museum.
8.0Location of the hotel was perfect, just a short walk from the Peace Park and Museum and on a tramline from the train station. We arrived at 3.30pm to be told our rooms weren't ready (3pm check in) but fortunately they were able to sort this. The rooms were very compact with not much room to manouevre, but were comfortable. Breakfast, with both Japanese and European choices, was served early which allowed us to get to the Peace Museum as it opened and to avoid the crowds. Staff were very friendly and helpful and we were able to store bags after check out. The hotel worked well for us for 1 night.

8.0Older hotel with very small rooms, even by Japan standards. 2 rooms we booked had black mold in bathrooms. There is no seal between tub and shower wall, making for a very easy mold trap. Staff did their best and did move us to new rooms.

4.0Although Hotel Kuretakeso Hiroshima is rated as a 4-star property, my stay was below expectations. The room was very small, even compared to other Japanese hotels, and the only window faced directly onto a wall, which made the space feel closed and uncomfortable. In addition, there were no English TV channels available, and the television did not allow connection to YouTube or screen mirroring from mobile devices. For international guests, this lack of entertainment options is disappointing.
