Funky, old lodge. We had the place to ourselves! Lake access is nice, but not a swimming lake. It’s old and a bit run down, but the rooms were clean and comfortable. The property has a fully stocked cookhouse which was handy!!!

− Kłamstwa na booking.com. Widok na góry- to widok na jezdnię -właściciel chyba nigdy gór nie widział, widok na dziedziniec to wysuszona trawa , zaniedbana sadzawka a nie żadne jezioro z taką ilością agresywnych much końskich jakiej w życiu jeszcze nie spotkałem. Łóżko przy każdym ruchu wydaje taki dźwięk, że umarłego by obudziło. Imitacja ac nie spełnia żadnych oczekiwań. Krzeseł do ogniska brak, grill 100 letni tak brudny że strach dotykać. Niestety uruchomiliśmy piekarnik żeby upiec udka kurczaka czym spowodowaliśmy potworny smród spalenizny w całym domku. Stanowczo odradzam korzystanie z tego obiektu którego lata świetności przeminęły 20 lat temu. Zaniedbany opuszczony grat a nie domek. Coś strasznego. Wstyd że takie rzeczy są na booking.com .

The lake close by was nice and relaxing after a day of hike

− Unfortunately this place is not a good value. The staff is only there 2 hours per day and don’t even answer back on whatsapp (maybe the number they give you isn’t the right one anymore). The sauna wasn’t ready to use, you need to ask through whatsapp and then they have to send someone to prepare it… so we could not use it. We couldn’t find the kitchenette until the last morning of our stay, again they don’t give you any indication on where it is unless you ask, through whatsapp again, that doesn’t work… Very disappointed in this stay. The amount we paid isn’t worth the value. Also the playgroup wasn’t set up yet

I return to this lodge year after year because I love how the rooms feel like home. They are dry, clean, well furnished and every year there are upgrades to make the rooms more lovely. The owner Ferdous is a sweet man who really wants to ensure that you have a comfortable, convenient stay. In contrast, many of the other establishments in the area have the typical musty odour of damp wood, which is why I always return to Hush Lodge where there is a well maintained corridor separating the outside and the bedrooms, which also adds security. I highly recommend Hush Lodge, only minutes away from the amenities of Barry’s Bay.

This is the best accommodation in the area. Continuous improvement is evident with every stay.

We always stay at Hush Lodge when we're in the area. The place is always well kept, the people(especially the owner) is responsive and so kind! Our family wants to come back because of how we're treated. Nothing tops that.
