My third stay at The Royal
10.0This was my third stay at The Royal Hotel. The beds are really comfy so I slept like a log. It is an old building and has lots of character. The hotel is near a supermarket, town and local shops. I will definitely be staying again. Thanks to everyone at The Royal hotel

4.0Staff in the pub were great but everything about the hotel side was horrible. Surfaces were sticky , carpets really badly stained, everywhere smelt of mould, walls were crumbling, no hot water, cold water tap on sink didnt work, bed was clean but lumpy and the headboard was filthy worn and stained. Mould and rust in the bathroom, bedside lights didnt work . If I'd brought bedding I'd have chosen to sleep on the floor of my work van!!
