10.0Everyone should stay in a place like this once in a lifetime. The hotel is located in a small village, and I mean small. The staff displayed the very best of Japanese hospitality. Extremely polite and helpful. The room was spacious and comfy with a 180 degree view of the ocean. The food served was very traditional, delicious and beautifully presented. Do not stay here if you do not like fish. Two nights were enough, there is nothing in town to do so after a few trips to the bath, you run out of options.
− More of a caution than anything else, but this place is not easy to get to. We took a taxi booked through GO, the Japanese version of Uber to get there but could not book a return through them. We eventually booked a transfer through booking.com, which was perfect but pricey. We actually spent more on transportation than the cost of the hotel. Train is an option but involves a change in Wakayama, the hotel will shuttle you to and from the train station in Kada.
