clean and friendly however in desperate need of renovations..
5.0The staff were very friendly and helpful. the bed was comfortable and the heating blankets added an extra touch of comfort. they were already switched on when i checked in which was very thoughtful seeing that it was freezing outside.
− the property did not match the photos on the site. the photos look a lot nicer than the property, especially the dining are was not as well decorated and equipped as in the photos on the site. the guesthouse was a lot older than in the photos the decoration is outdated and the carpets and finishes are worn. the guesthouse has an old, stuffy carpet smell and in the evenings and mornings there is a very strong smell of food.

5.0− Old and drab needs to be painted , entrance hall dirty had not been swept. Very dark and noisy. Busy main road nearby.

3.0For us it was a very disappointing experience. Having requested single beds we were given a double, not really suitable for two friends. The receptionist was very dismissive of us and we were told (not advised) to check our booking! The swimming pool was so small nobody could swim in it and it wasn’t very clean. Although we had booked B&B, we didn’t bother with the breakfast as our experience overall was very disappointing.
− Welcome should have been friendlier, as paying customers we shouldn’t have been dismissed when we had confirmation we had requested single beds but the receptionist wasn’t interested in seeing that.
