10.0Attractive, spacious, well-equipped apartment perfectly located for those expecting to walk everywhere and make the most of a stay in Arezzo, while also being close to the main train station for trips elsewhere. Halfway up The Corso Italia in a restored building from the 13th C, the location could not be more ideal. But more importantly, Stefano made us feel so welcomed from the moment we arrived. His home became ours, and we left knowing if we came back, there is no place else we’d rather stay. We had all the comforts one would want for settling in; there were not one but two ways of making our own cafe in the apartment, and the best (and oldest) cafe in town is just a block down the street. We enjoyed eating on our terrace overlooking a small courtyard, helping ourselves to the library, and waking up to the birds and church bells. Stefano also made sure we knew, any time, to call him if we needed anything at all. And the one time we did call, he was there just a few minutes later! (Note to potential travelers, I have never given a 10/10 review before.)
