Ideal and comfy for a nights stopover

Ideal for a night or two as a stopover. Lovely friendly staff and comfy room with en suite and wifi. Free parking and pub/restaurant downstairs with breakfast available.

− Bathroom (bath) was a little dirty and didnt look like it had been cleaned very thoroughly. A little noisy in the late evening as lots of people sat outside the bar but this is to be expected on a warm evening.

Good location and lovely staff

− Room full of spider webs and spiders and daddy long legs . Breakfast had to be booked before hand which was hard as didn’t know what time we were leaving and breakfast not available till 10am

− Room unclean, hairs on pillow, mould in the shower, stains on floor and furniture. Bed very uncomfortable, no support from mattress or pillows. Rooms very hot with no fan or AC

An experience not to be repeated

The description of a garden view when booking this place was far from true.. a view of a dirty roof, with an old ladder, rubbish, building materials etc. would be more accurate. While received a warm welcome from Tatiana where I had to check in at the bar, she introduced me to the owner, who appeared too busy to offer a civil greeting.. While my room was clean and comfortable, the smell of grease, onions and cooking continually wafted in through the window of my room, so much so, it really put me off ordering any food. In the morning, I wanted to have breakfast but when I came downstairs into a hall area, every door was locked (and one door even had a chain and padlock!!) The dining area from the night before was locked up. To be honest it was a horrible sensation, feeling trapped and no sign of life anywhere. In the end the only way I could get out of that place was through a fire exit. I left immediately, no breakfast, no sign of life..definitely no Céad Míle Failte here. Very disappointing.

− All of it. I hate checking in at bar counters, dragging luggage into a dining area, the poor view out the back, the smell of grease, onions and cooking in my room, the doors all locked when I came down to get breakfast (which I never had as it appeared there was none to be had!)
