Do not recommend.

We stayed two nights during Kalachakra. The first room we were given was a cubicle without windows, very humid, filled with mosquitoes and thilthy dirty!! The following night, we got transferred to (possibly) the only room we would recommend in the hotel (room 315). Our overall feeling was that the team in place had no, or very little, hotel management experience (albeit making efforts on the second day). Lastly, the hotel is no longer called Buddha International and the address is incorrect.

Cheap but confused and dirty.

This hotel was very reasonably priced, but I would not recommend staying there. There were numerous staff members whom all seemed very confused and did not understand how we had booked and paid through hotels.com. We did not get the room we had booked, the sheets were dirty and the place had random stuff lying around everywhere. There was breakfast included but we did not want to eat there. One staff member told us they had just taken over the hotel, so it is now called Sambodhi International Hotel - maybe that is the reason behind the confusion and general untidiness of the place. Again, it was really cheap, and they had free wifi so we were ok with it but I would not recommend this hotel for anyone with even a little standard.

Hotel is not well run. You want toilet paper and a soap? Ask about it. You want breakfast? It's pointless to tell about that the night before, only in the morning. You want Wi-Fi? Maybe they will turn on the router but don't expect internet connection. Booking a taxi from the hotel counter? They will try to overcharge you, so haggle as everywhere else. The room was dirty, the towel provided had a logo of Thai Airlines.
