don't even think of staying there
2.0Not grand, no luxury and definitely not a boutique hotel. Even the name, among all the hotel details is misleading. The room is tiny and uncomfortable. The worst part is the bathroom which is Spartan, has no tyles and the very little shower is, to say the list – uncomfortable. The reservation department changed my booking dates without my approval, at higher price, and when I asked to return it to the original date they said that they are fully booked and refused to return the money. Tiny room, third world bathroom and horrible reservation and reception. I would not even consider of going there for free.
No way is this a Luxury Hotel
6.0My wife and I stayed for 3 nights. This hotel is far from luxury. Our room was a small double room with balcony. The bathroom at the most was 1.5m square and had a 76cm square corner opening shower. It was a real squeeze to get in and out of the shower with it's very narrow opening. There were no tiles on the bathroom walls so there was areas of broken plaster and mould. The wardrobe was made from cheap contiboard which had seen better days. One of the ring towel holders fell off the wall and we were concerned that if you touched the bedroom wall mirror that that would also fall off as well. The bedside tables were tree stumps. There was no tea/ coffee making facilities. Most of the hotel interior was painted white and it was all very bland with no paintings or photos to be seen. It just lacked any character. The concrete stairwells reminded me of our local football stadium The one thing going for it is it's location in beautful Argostoli. Pablo, who seemed to be in charge of the restaurant and bar was a real gentleman and very polite and helpful. Casandra in reception was also very nice and polite, helping us with our luggage when we arrived and left. Someone said it is minimalistic which is a understatement
Never again The Hotel does not meet Luxury standards
6.0This is not a Grande Luxury Hotel When we booked this hotel it was advertised as a boutique hotel then the name changed omitting the Boutique There are no colours to the walls other than Black or White the floors were polished concrete as was the lift the shower room was 1.4m square with a shower a sink and a toilet with the door opening into the room if you are 16 stone with a chest measurement of 50 inch you cant get into the shower the hinges to the door were rusty as was the air con grill the Tv socket was hanging off the wall and the telephone never worked , no teaCoffee making facilities Tree stumps for bedside tables and although the room comes with a balcony (£30) per night extra all rooms have a balcony ?? The breakfast was on a table for you to choose for yourself but you could have something hot as long as it was egg or cheese, if the weather was hot the breakfast food is just left out and not on a cooled area. We stayed half board (not recommended) the menu changes every 5 days so twice in the fourteen days we stayed and ate in the restaurant twice the waiter Stakis is a pain, however Pablo at breakfast was a nice man all the taxi drivers refer to the hotel( as not so Grande) and i can only agree.

8.0Good stay right in front of the marina.
Lovely hotel - definitely worth staying
10.0I would recommend this hotel. It’s very modern, minimalistic but stylish. The breakfast had a wide variety of fresh food (including cooked) which was presented well. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean with daily room service replacing towels, toiletries and bottled water. There was plenty of space in the bedroom and even a small balcony. The staff were great but in particular Casandra the receptionist was really helpful and delightful. The waiter named Paul was extremely efficient at his job and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Thank you for looking after us so well Paul. The location couldn’t be beaten as the hotel is within easy reach of shops, restaurants, ferry port, bus station, etc. Extra drinks and food purchased at the hotel was reasonably priced. If I had to find something to improve I would say more hooks are needed in the bathroom and the inside of the shower could possibly be tiled. The downstairs toilet in the reception area needs a lock on the door. I am being picky now! Overall, it was a great experience staying at the Grand Hotel in Argostoli and we are thinking of returning next year.
Amazing holiday
8.0The staff were excellent, very pleasant and helpful. Check in was easy and we got our key before the allotted time. The room was very clean and the bed and towels were changed every day. The breakfast had everything that you could ask for, I had poached eggs even though they weren't on the menu. The view from the hotel was amazing. The only downside was the room was extremely small with very little space, so our suitcases had to go out on the balcony from which our view was of 11 solar panels and a corrugated roof. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will probably return.
