⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An unforgettable stay at Hill Cottage!
10.0We spent three wonderful nights at Hill Cottage and genuinely enjoyed every single day of our stay. This beautiful old English cottage is full of charm and offers a peaceful atmosphere on a stunning property surrounded by the breathtaking nature of Sri Lanka. The accommodation itself is beautiful, spotlessly clean, and exceptionally well maintained. The lovely garden is the perfect place to relax with an authentic cup of Ceylon tea while enjoying the tranquility of the surroundings. The location is ideal. You're only a few minutes from the town center and many of Nuwara Eliya's attractions. The famous Grand Hotel is right next door and is definitely worth visiting for its delightful afternoon tea experience. Breakfast was excellent every morning, with a wide variety of choices, and the staff happily accommodated any special requests. We also enjoyed dinner at the cottage twice during our stay, and both meals were absolutely delicious. Our room was spacious, stylishly furnished, immaculate, and cleaned daily. We felt comfortable from the very first moment. What made our stay truly exceptional, however, was the incredible hospitality of the entire team. They were unbelievably kind and caring towards our son, spending time playing badminton, throwing a ball, and enjoying other games with him. There was always time for a friendly chat and plenty of laughter. Our son was genuinely heartbroken when it was time to say goodbye, which says everything about how special the people at Hill Cottage are. This level of warmth and genuine hospitality is something we will never forget. If we return to Nuwara Eliya, there is no question where we will stay—we will definitely come back to Hill Cottage. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a charming, peaceful place with outstanding hospitality. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable! ⭐️

8.0The hotel itself was the personal residence of the governor, and has been very well maintained and restored. You did feel like you were in the British countryside. The team were helpful and extremely attentive. The location was quiet and serene, next to the Hill Club and close to the Grand Hotel, and walking distance to Victoria Park and Lake Gregory.
