Apartment 4 was very large, clean and well presented. Some signs of light wear and tear but otherwise a nice place to stay. Recommended.

Very good and amazing weekend away The apartment was very clean better than i was expecting had everything we needed Kids enjoyed On call staff was very helpful and kind Definitely would recommend and will be going back shortly

The apartment itself was ok, but basic and quite dark. The entrance to the unit (through a courtyard and into the main building) was derelict and dirty - truly deplorable. The location would be good if there weren't construction on the main street of Wokingham. I think the price was high for what I got, and regardless, I would not return nor recommend. While no AC is typical for England, the 3rd floor location of this unit makes it very uncomfortable on hot days.

Clean, tidy and loads of space for your money

One of 7 apartments in an old school building on the Main Street in Wokingham. Very well decorated and furnished. Modern, high-end IKEA describes it. Well heated and easy to control the temperature.. Fully equipped so cooking, washing, etc are easy to do. I travel a lot, so it was nice to cook something for myself for a change. Good wifi. Very large tv with, in this case, Sky. Next door to a good Italian restaurant and one door away from a nice old pub. Several other eating places are also less than 5 minutes away. There is a very good French Brasserie across the road. Waitrose and the Coop are less than a 5 minute walk. The station is a 10 minute walk. Parking is on the premises. During my three night stay the apartment was quiet and the bed comfortable. Three good night's sleep. I paid a very reasonable rate per night. At this rate it is very good value indeed. There is no service of the kind one would expect in a hotel, of course, but tea, coffee and milk are there when you arrive. Wokingham itself is a small place. There are major refurbishments to the central streets, so be prepared to search for the vehicle entrance to the apartments whilst this is happening. A slightly clearer map for customers during this period might help? There is a self service type of checki-in. The keys are in a small key-safe when you arrive. A bit fiddly, but not a real issue.

Nice but let down by a few details

Firstly, very helpful staff on the phone that helped guide me in. Also the flat was very clean and tidy, plus well equipped. However flat 2 that I stayed in only had single glazing which allowed noise from the adjacent walk way to penetrate the bedroom and disturb my nights sleep. There was a power failure in the building around 10pm which I didn’t report as it was bed time anyway and I just wanted to get my head down. I also had to repressurise the boiler on arrival to get heating and hot water. The owners need to install double glazing and perhaps do a few last minute checks before guests arrive to ensure everything is working as it should. Also the TV system is hideously complicated and a previous guest had reset the default language to something unintelligible (to me anyway). Again, could have been caught by a pre checkin inspection.
