Great hotel, great location disappointed there was no available restaurant

The hotel had excellent location and very friendly staff. our room was pleasant and clean. Staff were attentive. The breakfast had a very wide range of choice which was excellent

− We were told upon arrival that the restaurant was closed for food as there was a wedding on. we specifically looked for a hotel with a restaurant on side as we had a long travel so i was frustrated as I would have booked a different hotel if i had known this would be the case.

A Truly Memorable Stay at The Burlington From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with cordiality and professionalism that set the tone for an exceptional stay. We were visiting to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and the hotel made the occasion feel truly special from the very first moment. Our room was a delight — beautifully presented, with a card awaiting us and rose petals scattered around a charming swan-shaped towel display. It was a thoughtful touch that made the romance of the occasion feel wonderfully complete. Particular thanks must go to Kateřina on reception, whose attentiveness and genuine willingness to help went well beyond what we expected. Her excellent service added real warmth to our stay. Breakfast was a true highlight — a rich, cooked-to-order selection, with every dish delivered in perfect, succulent quality. Being able to enjoy it out on the terrace made each morning feel all the more special. The room itself was spacious, peaceful, and supremely comfortable, striking that rare balance of feeling both cosy and effortlessly functional. And the sea view — simply breathtaking, a constant reminder of why we chose the seaside for this celebration. Throughout our stay, we were struck by the impeccable cleanliness of the hotel, and by décor that beautifully celebrates the building's style, history, and elegance — with wonderful art dotted throughout that added real character to every corner we passed. We left The Burlington with wonderful memories of a truly romantic escape, and we are already looking forward to returning next year for our anniversary — this time for two nights instead of one, to savour it all a little longer.

− If we were to offer one small piece of feedback, it would be that our breakfast drinks took a little while to arrive, and there was some brief confusion over whether to pay directly or add it to the room. This was resolved quickly and pleasantly by the end, and took nothing away from what was otherwise a wonderful stay.

The Burlington Hotel was first class.the weather was beautiful so sitting in the outside area facing the sea was wonderful. We had a terrific stay and wouldn't hesitate to revisit.

Enjoyable stay with lots of seaside amenities close by.

Location was good but very busy. Room was lovely - old but comfortable with very high ceilings. Views were stunning. The restaurant was fairly good and the staff were lovely.

− It was very hot and could go with air conditioning. The location meant it was noisy through the night. Parking was an issue as had to keep purchasing tickets every 4 hours during the day which meant returning to the car during the day.
