10.0Friend and I stayed at this location for 3-day weekend while visiting the local Rock Falls/Sterling area. We chose this hotel because it had a larger suite room available as well as being near many of the places that we wanted to visit. Both of these qualities made it a convenient home base where we could relax and refresh. Both our room and the entirety of the hotel were very clean and well-maintained. Room was spacious enough for our needs, and beds/couch were comfortable for resting. Nice view from the window, and minimal noise from the hallway and surrounding rooms. Plenty of amenities offered, such as fitness room and swimming pool. We were especially impressed with the breakfast selection in the mornings, which included a good variety of warm and cool options. Plenty to eat, which helped reduce our food budget for the weekend. Prices are not cheap, but we probably got more value from our stay than what we were charged (i.e., well worth the cost). Service was also top notch throughout our stay. Everyone was polite and professional.
