Cosy and good value but pick the top floor!
7.0Feels like an NYC apartment more than a hotel. Convenient and cosy and comfortable, with kitchenette handy for longer stays.
− All of the ground floor and lower level rooms are very dark. Interior views and very little natural light.
İlk gün dışında mükemmel
8.0− Rezervasyonda Queen Suit ve güneşli oda fotorafı gelince bodrum katında basık karanlık bir oda.. (allahtan 2. gün değiştirebildik
This is a predatory business. Stay away from it!
1.0− You can see i am disgruntled. Last November I had to cancel my reservation (2 nights) because of my son's death. The management would not reimburse me, but promised me credit for a later stay. That was a lie. Three months later i checked in assuming that i had a reservation for 2 nights, but after the first night i was told, rather unceremoniously that i should either leave or pay 500$(!) for another night. Setting aside the ridiculous overprice for such a mediocre accommodation (i think a rate of 100$ per night would be too generous for what they offer) i was struck by the callous attitude of the management. I think businesses such as this should be put out of business as soon as possible. You can help to do this.
It’s a quirky boutique hotel in a nice neighborhood.
10.0Love the hardwood floors for cleanliness and it’s a unique hotel. The restaurant is excellent and the gym is well equipped. The details are well thought out, down to the way they fold the towels! 😎
− Can’t think of anything.
The best location. But your room will either be awesome or horrible.
7.0I love Green Point. I love Franklin Street. This position is amazing. We had 2 separate bookings and we paid for the same room both times. We stayed in two different rooms. One- a large room on the ground floor was brilliant. Super comfortable king sized bed. Massive bathroom. Spacious. Beyond expectations. The second room was small- average for New York - but had a double bed that was the most old, and uncomfortable I have ever slept on. Or didn't sleep on actually.
− One room was amazing. One the worst. In my review I tried to split the difference. But unless i could ensure I had a bed I could sleep on, I would never go back. And I don't know the secret to get one of the newer beds/ bigger rooms.
A great choice if you are planning to spend time in Williamsburg / Greenpoint
8.0Our room was a suite, so it was large, with a kitchenette. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was small but fine. Air conditioning worked well. The hotel has a small gym - quite basic but perfectly adequate for a short stay
− there was no view - there was a wall about two feet from the window. The hotel's entrance lobby is small and a little rudimentary. There is a single lift (so occasional delays) and guests are asked only to use the stairs in emergency (a shame as there are only a couple of floors). But the pros materially outweigh the cons
