We stayed 3 nights at Finca Vibran. The grounds and flowers are gorgeous and the views of the valley are amazing. Our room was very nice and comfortable. My only issue is that it was very warm in our room and only a small bathroom window for ventilation. Our only other option was to open our door at night (not worried about our safety at all) but the issue was bugs. There is mosquito netting over the bed, but I don't want to let all those bugs into our room. Lots of bugs anyway--beetles and small spiders. We had a frig, bathrobes, coffeemaker. Breakfast was lovely. Kind of far from things to do, restaurants, etc. Grecia is about a 15 minute drive away and is where most of the restaurants are.

Our hostess Karina was so helpful. We should give her 10 stars. A good cook also, the breakfasts were complete and sociable. I was able to practice my Spanish with her and we both helped with her English, which is getting close to fluent. She also shared a recipe for small biscuits that were homemade and served at breakfast. We also appreciated the service of the local taxi men, Randall and Dennis for their prompt and courteous service. Their taxi cars are clean and efficient and each of them know the roads and byways. The fares are reasonable and fair. They will accompany you on local excursions if required. The grounds are lush with flowers and trees and the locale fairly quiet. It can be a bit windy since the locale is in the hills. Breakfast is served in the main house which is the home of the owners. They were not here. Only the breakfast area of the main house is available to B&B guests. We did not expect anything different. Remember that this is a B&B and not the Ritz Carlton. Our room was clean and with all things needed for a comfortable stay. Our only complaint (not a big one) was the water pressure and water temperature in the washbasin. Wait a bit and that improves. A great Costa Rican experience...people make the difference!

I wish we could have stayed longer than just the one night! Gracious hospitality, very comfortable and well-appointed room, delicious breakfast, beautiful view, glorious sunset. We felt very welcomed and cared-for.
