Mysigt och fräscht boende med trevliga och välkomnande värdar på en väldigt mysig och naturskön ort.
10.0Det låg precis intill leden när vi gick Great Glen Way - perfekt läge. Rent och fräscht, väldigt sköna sängar. Fullt utrustat kök och, bäst av allt, ett stort fönster som vette mot en uteplats där det pågick matning av fåglar och ekorrar! Vi såg minst 10 olika fågelarter och flera ekorrar! Så roligt! Dessutom var värdarna oerhört välkomnande och trevliga, med bra info om byn och sevärdheter runtomkring. I närheten finns en trevlig lanthandel med (jättegoda!) scones och även ett café med gott kaffe. Där fanns även frukost men vi hade tyvärr redan ätit.

We recommend the location for visiting Fort Augustus
10.0The property is about a 10-12 minute drive from Fort Augustus, but we were mainly aiming to visit places near Fort William. We didn’t pay attention that it’s about an hour or 1 hour 10 minutes to Fort William, but the property turned out to be nice, very clean, facing the forest. The room was very spacious, with 2 separate beds, comfortable beds, a beautiful bathroom, and a kitchen equipped with everything needed to prepare breakfast and dinner. We really appreciated that bird and squirrel food was placed in front of the window, so we could watch them. A little pheasant would even come, along with other bigger birds, but we couldn’t see the two little marten brothers or the badger. The owners were very kind and even sent us videos to see them coming and taking the eggs set out for them. On the way out of Fort Augustus towards Fort William, about 18 minutes from the property, on the right side, there are 10-12 stags and roe deer that you can see from the road.
− We would have preferred the table by the window so we could watch the birds and squirrels. Being positioned in the kitchen, next to the wall, isn't ideal. You can hear the footsteps of those upstairs, especially if they come in late (we stayed on the ground floor), but they didn't make any other noise.
