− Das Hotel ist nur zu Fuß in ca. 3 Minuten zu erreichen, Koffer über den Strand, Die ganze untere Etage ist ungepflegt und vollgestopft, Zimmer veraltet, Bad Armartur defekt kein Shampoo etc. Frühstück ist lieblos und einfach

Tolle Unterkunft mit super Strandlage

Wir waren im Zimmer im 1. Stock mit Meerblick und Balkon und es war traumhaft schön. Das Zimmer war top ausgestattet (mit vielen Schränken), geräumig und das Bad modern und mit super Dusche. Die Unterkunft liegt direkt am Strand und hat auch schöne Sitz- und Liegeplätze. Die Bucht ist ein natürlicher Swimmingpool und daher auch in der Saison mit viel Wellengang sehr ruhig und schön zum schwimmen. Man kann hier auch sehr schön schnorcheln, es gibt viele tolle Fische insbesondere Papageienfische zu sehen. Direkt links um die Ecke ist der schöne Strand zum surfen und mit Volleyballfeld. Es gibt ausreichend Restaurants direkt vor der Tür und es ist nicht überlaufen aber ausreichend touristische Infrastruktur vorhanden. Für uns war alles perfekt

− Das WLAN ist leider öfter ausgefallen. Da man im Zimmer keine mobile Datenverbindung hat ist man dann mal etwas vom Internet abgeschnitten, aber nicht so schlimm im Urlaub.

Super freundliches Personal, tolles Essen...

Die direkte Lage am Strand war super. Das Personal war freundlich, konnte aber kaum Englisch. Frühstück direkt am Wasser. An einem Abend wurden wir sehr lecker mit frischem Fisch bekocht.

− Der Betrieb lief auf Sparflamme...außerhalb der Saison. Dafür war alles ein bisschen zu teuer. Z.B. ein recht einfaches Frühstück für 4000 Rupien...

We were the only guests during most of our stay (end of season), so we had the beach beds all to ourselves. Having breakfast right on the beach was great. Ocean near the hotel is perfect for young kids (no waves). Rooms were unexpectedly large and quite comfortable, with solid wood furniture. AC was working fine in our rooms. And we even had WiFi right on the beach.

− The non-functioning bar at the entrance to the hotel and the view of an abandoned nearby building gave me really spooky feeling... I don't know if it is common for hotels in Sri Lanka, but in our 5 day stay we had absolutely no room cleaning... I would expect at least for the trash can to be emptied every couple of days, especially since the staff obviously didn't have much else to do... But the worst part was that my 5 year old child had an accident in the bathroom. He slipped on the tile floor and cut his hand on sharp corner of a metal thing between the floor and glass wall of the shower. The cut was so bad that he had to have 3 hour surgery when we returned home (thankfully the accident happened on our last evening there). I really hope they fix the sharp corner and no one else gets hurt!!! The manager promised to arrange taxi to the airport "for a good price". The taxi ended up having 3 passenger seats and there were 4 of us, so I had to hold my child in my lap for 2 hours... And the "good" price was not that good either.

Spacious bathroom though water was cold

− Had to navigate a labyrinth of dingy alleyways lugging my cases to get to the hotel. None of the facilities advertised existed, no tv, no car park, no bbq, no English breakfast, no lounge, no daily room clean in fact no room cleaning at all! Though there were rats and cockroaches. Lots of people smoking, no credit card facilities had to pay by cash which I had to obtain from the town atm. My husband is 75 and had to climb 3flights of steep stairs to get to the room. Our view was of a derelict building. I will definitely be demanding a refund from booking.com they should take this property off of their list
