8.0Great staff, beautiful room, great breakfast included, with very nice restaurant. No air conditioning and 66 steps up to your room, with no elevator. Beautiful hotel in a nice area, but you need to be very mobile to stay there.

10.0This is a very old building and it has been lovingly and beautifully restored. Perfect location in York to stay. Easy walk from the train station and close to the York Minster and the Shambles market. Dozens of restaurants, pubs and shops around the hotel. Cannot wait to go back!

10.0Adorable, charming and comfortable hotel. Our room was cozy, bed, pillows and comforter were extremely comfy. We slept great. Loved the skylight in the bathroom. Staff was extremely attentive and helpful. Wonderful location with tons to walk to.
