10.0stayed here for 10 days in late august. nice modern and clean apartment with regular cleaning and friendly staff. there is a great beachside bar called Hemmingway's too, which had the best food with great portions along the beach front in Lourdas.

10.0I stayed at Barefoot Contessa in mid-June 2025. I was holidaying as a solo traveller which I have only done a few times before and so was very anxious leading up to the trip. I needn’t have worried as I had an amazing week. The resort/village and apartments were both fantastic and the staff at Barefoot Contessa/Hemingways were always really friendly and helpful: Dimitra, Olga and Spiros and co. The apartment was really lovely and clean. Comfortable and nicely furnished. Good shower and bathroom. It has everything you would need including a small oven/grill and two rings - although I didn’t actually cook as there are a small number of good restaurants very near by including Hemingways bay-restaurant just a few seconds walk away. The apartment is literally a stone’s throw from a really beautiful beach - mainly sandy with crystal clear waters and backed by the most beautiful mountainous scenery. It is literally 2 mins walk from the apartment - possibly less! The village itself is beautiful and was not at all crowded. It suits anyone looking for a quiet, scenic and relaxing break from daily life. I would thoroughly recommend Barefoot Contessa.

6.0Apartment lovely, but got accosted by staff saying we hadnt paid !!! Obviously we had through expedia so spent an hour on phone to expedia to sort ,!! Not great
