Cleanliness issues not addressed at a $369 price point
3.0Paul was welcoming on arrival, helped with luggage, and ensured I had a parking space.
− I found mould in the shower grout, spiders in the bathroom, cobwebs, and a significant build-up of dust on the bedhead. My attempt to raise these issues that night via phone and message went unanswered. As a result, I was unable to sleep that night. The next morning, I raised the issue of the spiders in person and explained that I hadn’t slept. The concerns were dismissed. I was also asked to return my room keys at 6:30am before I had finished packing or formally checked out. Paul later acknowledged via Booking.com that cleaning had been missed but refused any refund, instead offering a future stay that I cannot use. Following this, I was informed by Booking.com that the property had flagged me as a difficult guest after I raised these concerns. These cleanliness issues and the handling of my concerns are not consistent with a $369 per night “luxury” accommodation.

9.0The atmosphere is amazing! It's like stepping back in time to a luxurious and refined time. Facilities were more than adequate with the huge comfy bed a highlight. Breakfast was fabulous. The guest lounge/dining and kitchenette area was very much appreciated. A great stay!

5.0Breakfast was very good. Bed was comfortable. Ray was excellent and pleasant.
− The shower was very small, half the size of a telephone box. The TV has a black line down the middle of the screen. I booked a room with additional beds but when we got there only one was made up. The heater in the sitting area did not work which made sitting there watching tv very cold. The drinks in the fridge had no information as to whether they had a charge or not. No available information to that effect and we were therefore charged for the water we used. Overall not somewhere I could recommend or ever intend to stay there again.
