Peaceful break
8.0The host, Elise, was very warm and welcoming. We were the only guests there at the time so it was very peaceful. Garden was lovely, enjoyed the pool. We had a problem with the bath plug and TV but Elise was very quick to sort it out. Only down side was the bed was a bit hard and the mosquitos in the room at night. We had to sleep with the fan on as the air con was not very powerful.
Friendly and Comfortable
10.0We were in Tulbugh for a wedding and we stayed at African Tulip Guesthouse. Elise was very welcoming and friendly. She even helped remove a wine stain on my shorts! The accommodation was spacious and comfortable and Elise provided a delicious breakfast. Highly recommend!
Hidden Gem in Tulbagh
10.0Easy to find accommodation, not far from the main road, but far enough to feel like you're on holiday and won't hear the traffic. Spacious rooms. Clean. Hosts very friendly and happy to help with any advise RE dinner recommendations etc.

10.0Super clean, super friendly host, beautiful location. Reasonably priced. Wonderful place! The host was accomodating and had a wonderful attitude throughout our stay. There's a pool which is great. And the views are fantastic from aroudn the property.

10.0what a lovely place to stay and an awesome host, Elise! The breakfasts were absolutely delicious! The gardens are also beautiful and well maintained. Unfortunately it was not warm enough to take a dip in the pool! Thank you for your hospitality!

10.0Our time was very pleasant, the hosts are exceptional along with everything else. The bagpipes entertainment was an unexpected pleasure. The room was very comfortable and the dining room delightful. Great breakfast. No problems or complaints at all.
