Gem in the north.
8.0Location was perfect to visit the very tip of door county. Easy to catch ferry to Washington Island or visit Newport State Park for the dark skies. The small fishing village was a great area to slow down and get some distance from the chaos of the trendy nearby towns. Great smoked fish shop and cider tasting near by. The facility had lots to offer, sauna, fire pit, gazebo area for sitting or grilling. The manager was very friendly and helpful.
− We stayed in Country view suites, the bed was extremely soft. Could have used more creamer in the room (Only four provided for two for two nights). The towels were small and thin.
