It is a clean spacious property. They provided us with all the bits like vinegar etc that you always forget to bring when you're self catering. The garden was lovely.

− A little bit out of town so need transport as no easy footpath into centre.

The deco was finished to a very high standard, all the rooms where spacious and clean. All equipment was high end. Showers where great and this whole house was warm and cosy.

Fabulous accommodation and a great location

The Stables were a fabulous place to stay. Everything you could wish for and need...a real home from home. A great location too, being only 10 mins or so to Cheddar and 20 mins or so to Wells (both great days out). Hosts were lovely and we'd definitely recommend everyone to stay there.

Beautifully done stable conversion attached to Nyland Manor in carefully tended grounds. Responsive and friendly host. Generous, spacious and luxurious rooms each with their own en-suite facilities. Quirky and beautiful ornaments and pictures. Kitchen had everything we needed and more - plus a view of the lake and grounds and occasional friendly visits from the cat. We were able to host a meal for 12 family members after a 100th birthday celebration in Cheddar. The wood burner in the lounge was a bonus and the underfloor heating an added luxury. A lovely welcome pack including local cheese, bread, fresh eggs from Rachel's chickens and a bottle of wine.

− Sat nav made us turn too early off the main road. Arriving after dark it was hard to see the sign - but the host's instructions were faultless so we did all arrive safely from our different directions.
