8.0The Himeville Arms is a newly renovated country inn. The Inn itself is decorated nicely and kept up to date, including a pub, several dining areas as well as sitting areas. It is really nice. The cottages are not newly renovated and in acceptable condition. The staff deserves recognition for their willingness to assist you and always attending to customer services. They also have a night security service patrolling the grounds. The downside is that the most of cottages do not have televisions and none of them have internet. The televisions are in the pub and the internet is limited to pub and lobby. You can not even access the internet in the breakfast dining room. Also, the internet was available sometimes but not all the time. These two issues (television and internet) issues if this is something you want in your room. Also, there is not refrigerator and freezer in rooms and there is a policy that no outside food or drinks are allowed on premises. This is limiting especially when it is late at night and you want something to eat or drink. If these issues do not bother you, then the inn is really nice. There is a pool as well but we did not use it. Please consider televisions, internet, and refrigerator/freezer for rooms. One should not have to eat or drink at the inn 24/7 not have to sit in the pub to watch television or check for emails, etc. Thumbs up to the staff. Thank you!
