Salvo è un host eccezionale! Ci siamo sentiti come a casa. La villa è semplicemente meravigliosa, tutto era perfetto e curato nei minimi dettagli. Un soggiorno fantastico, senza alcun difetto. Torneremo sicuramente!

Relaxing stay

Property is in a quiet area with views of Mount Etna. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Pool area was great! Well sized pool and lounge area. Garage was spacious and we managed to fit 2 cars

− We were missing some basic items, such as napkins, shower gel, dish soap, toilet paper, garbage bags, instant coffee… I think, for the price we paid, these items could have been provided. Unfortunately, upon arrival we found a mote stating that someone (gardener/pool attendant)is expected daily between 0700-1000am. We were not informed before about this! We had to wait around until the pool was cleaned and the grass was trimmed, which was not ideal as we paid to relax and enjoy the pool area

− The worst experience I've ever had with an accommodation. After a 300 km drive from Palermo, very tired, needing the toilet and having a small child with us, we saw that the key was missing from the key box. The phone left in booking was switched off. We called a second phone, which was listed in the chat through booking. Later we found out that it was Turkish one and we were charged roaming costs. We were told that there had been a misunderstanding and the fault was of the cleaner, and that someone would come as soon as possible within 10 minutes. After 15 minutes of waiting we realized that the key would not be delivered that quickly and part of the group decided to find a restaurant or shop where they could freshen up and go to the toilet. Unfortunately, nothing was working in the village because it was Easter. After about 45 minutes, a woman came and unlocked the door. A little later we noticed that no drinking water was left (usually when checking in, there is almost always water left by the host to satisfy your needs during the first hours of your stay). The people apologized many times, brought sweets the next day, but we are not lovers of sweets. Of course, the waiting and attempts to contact someone made us nervous and left a bitter taste for us upon checking in. The next day during lunch time we received a call and were accused of not paying for the house. We explained to the host that we had paid in the check-in form he had sent us and sent a print screen of the payment we had made. Despite the explanation, a few hours later I received a message from Booking support, in which the host stated that it had not been paid and that we owed him 252 euros. I had to explain to the support again that we had actually paid. We felt like criminals and our last day of our stay had to be spent dealing with this instead of enjoying beautiful Sicily. Also some of the photos don’t correspond to the actual rooms in the villa, for example of the kitchen.

Nice villa to get away from it all, yet close enough to do great fun stuff in Sicily
