9.0Brilliant location right by the boder making crossing very easy, Farm placed right by a mountain making for an amazing sunrise. They have electric blankets in all the beds for the cold winters which we appriciated.
Nightmare, undisclosed queue to the border undermined beautiful location. Poor communication of facts to customers
1.0The view from the window was beautiful, as shown on the pictures.
− The location of the property is right by the border post. We arrived to find people had been queuing for 4 or 5 hours. People were tired and angry. The host told us to drive down the right hand side which just helped to create gridlock and confrontation with other drivers. It could have become really ugly. The chaos at the border post is not the fault of the host - not communicating the extent of the problem to guests in advance to enable us to make alternative arrangements is their fault. Suggesting that you can go out for dinner is also totally false as you cant leave when the queue is gridlocked. Host’s response was a desperate “it’s not my fault” when he needs to think about customers.
We had a peaceful, relaxing and comfortable holiday in stunning surroundings.
