9.0The room size , location , the bed comfort
Convenient location. Nice staff.
9.0Lady in reception was very nice. Room was well appointed and clean.
I will highly recommend their hotel. I visit Rockland annually and will return.
8.0I really enjoyed the view from the balcony. The location is great for walking to local restaurants and pubs. They have a great propane fire pit in the front of the hotel that's a great socialization place to unwind at the end of the day.
− All the rooms have windows that face east causing issues if you want to sleep in as the blinds don't block the sunlight very well.
Average mid-range hotel with congenial service in great location
6.0This is a mid-range hotel. Very congenial reception. Comfortable room, comfortable bed with linens and plentiful pillows. Nice view of a working harbor. Having a balcony is nice; though it’s small, you can sit on a chair and the door opens to get nice fresh air. Plenty of space in the room with dresser, drawers, and large closet with quality hangers. Nice shower and decent quality, plentiful towels. Plastic rather than glass glasses is a drawback. Wi-Fi was not functioning in our room, though we were able to use our phones as a hotspot. The height of the chair is not calibrated to the desk height, so it is not comfortable to work on a laptop. Breakfast is OK, not that great really. There are pre-made omelets that are okay, and some other minimal items. Plastic and cardboard cups. The reception area is not much to speak of, but you can sit in the dining room to socialize or do work, and there is a nice area to sit out front with your friends. It is a short walk into town, which has many shops and places to eat. So the location is excellent if you'll be Rockport on foot. And a short drive the Lighthouse, which is about a mile out and another mile back. Do you like good food? The best place to eat is Primo, a little over a mile down the road: fine dining, a little pricey, but worth it if your pocketbook can afford it. You need to reserve in advance, though they accept walk-ins if there is room. Go a little bit early and walk around the farm area where they grow all their produce. Also try the Atlantic Baking Company for morning pastry, great coffee, and excellent pre-made sandwiches to bring on your picnic.
I loved everything
10.0The location, the room, the peacefulness sitting on the balcony, the customer service. We arrived at 9 tired and hungry from traveling all day. Restaurants were closed. They called a local bar to see if the kitchen was still open so we could squeeze in an order. It was just such a wonderful way to start our trip with extra service and the rest of the stay didn't disappoint.
