10.0Amazing location, perfect to check into after that shrine workout. Please try both the cave and Roman baths if you can, they are phenomenal. Check out the museum as well! The staff there was extremely professional, kind, and hospitable. I had a lot of questions as it was my first ryokan stay and they made sure all of them were resolved. Can’t forget about the view. If the weather was a bit better and Mt.Fuji was visible then it would have been even more amazing. Still was phenomenal regardless. Highly recommend and would book again!

7.0My sister is vegan and the staff were really great about providing a vegan breakfast for her when requested, going out of their way to make special dishes. We really appreciated it! Great location on the island - it was cloudy when we went, or else the room would have had a Fuji view. We did just spot it with the sunset! The onsens are great fun - very different to others I've been to.
− The hotel itself is a bit old-looking and could use some updates, but perfectly comfortable. The onsen areas in particular seem a little run down and could use a deep clean.
