− The lack of proper beer. Being a Marston's pub, we assumed that there would have a decent pint, such as Marston's Pedigree

8.0Didn’t have breakfast or eat in the restaurant but had a drink in the pub. Nice historic building. Comfortable room.
− Nothing serious but we did have to request for clean towels as not changed and also had to get a new room key as the original one stopped working. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful though.
Great for a visit to Exeter.
7.0Great location for town centre and quay area. Clean and tidy, nice size rooms. Adjacent car park with discounted rates. ( Although this used to be included in the room cost) Great historic Wetherspoons over the road.

− Breakfast could have been included for the price I paid. The shower gel and shampoo in the containers screwed to the wall had been watered down with something and smelled of rotten eggs.. Luckily I had brought my own Soap and shampoo.
