10.0IL GIUDIZIO INERISCE LE CAPACITA' ALBERGHIERE DELLA STRUTTURA E NON QUELLE SPORTIVE. OTTIMA STANZA, AMBIENTI SPAZIOSI, PULIZIA ED ACCOGLIENZA ENCOMIABILI. 10.0Nach einem Tag in der wunderschönen antiken Stadt Matera (europäische Kulturhauptstadt 2019) erwarteten mich drei wunderbare Golftage im Golfclub Metaponto. Im privaten Ambiente des liebevoll restaurierten Landhauses aus dem 18. Jahrhundert wurde ich von Signore Enzo kulinarisch verwöhnt, vor allem das Frühstück mit der selbstgemachten Orangenmarmelade vom eigenen Landgut war köstlich. So knapp nach den Osterfeiertagen war ich der einzige Pensionsgast. Und, an den Vormittagen ich auch die einzige Golfspielerin am Platz- erst an den Nachmittagen waren noch anderen Golfspieler unterwegs. Eine Allee die zum Landhaus führt teilt den 18-Loch Platz in zwei Hälften, so, dass ich zwischen Loch 9 und 10 im Club eine Kaffeepause im Club einschalten konnte. Man spielt zwischen Orangengärten, Olivenhainen, ausgetrockneten Teichen und Wiesen. Die Greens sind ok, die Fairways sind steinhart, das war für mich gewöhnungsbedürftig. So viele Bälle wie hier habe ich noch nie verloren. Verirrt habe ich mich auch. Die Hinweisschilder zum nächsten Loch sind in die Jahre gekommen und schlecht sichtbar. Man könnte sie neu malen und besser platzieren. Das ist mein einziger negativer Punkt. Sonst: Metaponto Golf ist wunderbar! Frida
Great lay over on my stay in Italy
8.0Hotel and golf course stay was great, very out of the way place but staff (Enzo) made it a great stay taking care of everything. Course is in good shape but greens are a bit slow. Course knowledge is key here and my golf app helped a lot. Staff are all great and helpful
