4.0I really was skeptical of Gunner's almost from the start. It didn't seen at all like a good place to stay. The place is all locked up and there is no front lobby where someone is at the desk at all times to answer questions etc. I didn't feel safe being there but we did stay for the whole time we paid for. I tripped on the first day because the concrete step to the landing was too high (higher than a normal size step) resulting in a scraped shin drawing blood. The bathtub leaks and the toilet doesn't flush correctly, having to flush several times to get all the toilet paper etc. to go down. We didn't want to have our room cleaned up every day (on purpose), so we put the sign on the door. It was enough to just have it cleaned after we left and we left a tip for them on the dresser. It felt like rooms for a night and get out kind of place - with all the mirrors in the room. The picture at the top of this page was not anything like our room. We are both in our late 70's, almost 80. The fridge froze what we put in it overnight. We didn't have to pay for the parking which was a good thing. Sorry for the bad review. It was dirty, not the room itself but insides of the building, steps, windows etc. That high concrete step in the back need to be fixed along with the leaking water in the tub and the toilet flusher. There should be someone all the time at a front desk to communicate with. :(
