Koh-Lanta Warriors, we never signed up to experience this. move along

1.0

The mattress had been eaten by mice. There was only cold water for washing because the hot water tap was broken. The dinner was cold, a meal tray with no added value, even though the room cost over 6000 NAD. And the bottle of wine was the cheapest on the list. The heaters were supposed to be super (we don't know if they worked because there weren't any). The security was perched in a tree with no way to lock the room, and the walkie-talkie didn't answer. That night it was 5 degrees Celsius. There was only half a thermos of hot water for tea. On the other hand, the coffee machine listed in the room amenities had surely been stolen. We couldn't find it.

On the morning after our night of a thousand and one nightmares, the driver came to pick us up without asking how we slept, just like the staff. Everyone should know that their "super tree house" is far from universally acclaimed. However, after speaking with the manager and finding out why nothing was working, even though this experience was supposed to be unforgettable and was more expensive than a double room (with hot water and a hot meal), we agreed on a mid-range price. Imagine our surprise when we received our credit card statement. One hour after our departure, this unscrupulous manager charged our card the full amount of the room in addition to the amount we had agreed upon—more than 150%! Namibia complains that its country is less visited. Look no further. Such practices drive people away. You need to re-evaluate your approach.

Excellent

The staff were friendly and attentive. The rooms were cooled by AC. We were on a 3 week camping trip so this was a great place for Etosha to refresh before moving on. Namibia needs more conservatories like this as we experienced in Damarrland What a fantastic country with such great people.

Peut beaucoup mieux faire…

6.0
