10.0It was exceptional in every way! The gorgeous ancient hilltop village of Tatti and this hotel, La Fattoria, are like a dream. We were treated so well by the staff. This old (late 1400s?) former convent has been restored and updated to the highest standards. Everything is designed thoughtfully and exquisitely with every comfort in mind. The staff is kind, friendly, professional, and highly attentive and accommodating. The breakfast each morning is really great, with lots of locally produced food. The folks who live in the village (including the cats!) are kind and welcoming. Great restaurant in town just steps from the hotel, including outdoor dining terraces with views to die for, and there’s a gorgeous vineyard with wine tastings just outside of the village. There is a wonderful little bar in the middle of town, too! If you’ve ever dreamed of a fantasy get-away to a small Tuscan village — this is it!! We only wish we could have stayed longer!
