− The owner coming to tell us to check out and we still had the cabin for another night.They had made a mistake and put us in a different cabin.And she came to the door and was very rude thinking that we were supposed to check out.And we were not supposed to do that.We had another night booked.

− This is a "vintage" motel, that's being kind. There has been some modernizing, but not in the sound deadening or light reduction areas. We were in a king room. The light reducing curtains only covered about 2/3 of the windows. The rest just had a sheer. There were people outside about 5 rooms down and their conversations carried well to our room, with the door and windows closed. Unfortunately the guy next door drove a mufflerless truck, so when he arrived or left it was loud! Also, there was a door chain hanging from the doorframe, but no corresponding connection on the door. The location was why we chose this, hoping for quiet since it's on a connecting street. The road noise was less, but it is definitely not quiet.
Decent location but the value leaves a lot to be desired.
