Lovely Traditional Hotel

Loved this traditional hotel! We stayed in a traditional room. The staff sets up and takes down the room morning and night. The futons were very comfortable. The onsite onsen was also lovely and the staff was understanding for those of us who hadn't experienced that before. They have a lovely lounge area and a good breakfast buffet. It was a treat to stay here. We also were able to arrange for 7 of us to get massages- the staff was very accomodating!

I never felt so welcomed

Hotel where you are welcomed from the start. We were greeted at the entrance as they were already expecting us. Check in was a breeze and our luggage’s were immediately brought to our rooms by the friendly staff. The rooms were large, clean and comfortable. We had ordered dinner with our stay and they fed us really well with a multi-course kaiseki meal. The car park was spacious with enough room for all car sizes. We enjoyed both indoor and outdoor onsen very much. Will definitely return to the hotel.

The best onsen experience in Beppu

Very nice experience for our first visit in Beppu. Will definitely re-visit here when we come to Beppu again. Thank you for the host, good and everything is so nice. We love here, the staff, environment, food and room.

The hotel is excellent in general. First of all, the location of the hotel is good with less than 10 minutes walk to Beppu station, there is also bus stations in front and opposite to the hotel with easy access to attractions such as Umi Jigoku, Yufuin, and Beppu Global tower. The room is clean and tidy with great views, though we are not super fans for hot spa, we enjoy it very much, yet we love the bigger pool. The hotel staff are great too, they ran out to help us to carry the luggage’s when we arrived, they also came out to collect our umbrella when we backed to the hotel as well. Finally, their breakfast is one of the best I have ever had in Japan with much variety of Oita local cuisines, while the view of the restaurant is scenic.

春休みが終わったばかりで、ゴールデンウイークもまだ始まっておらず、観光客も少ない。 ホテルには美しい環境があり、店員は親切です。Spring break was just ended, Golden Week hadn't started yet, and there were not so many tourists. The hotel has beautiful surroundings and the staff are friendly.
