8.0The hotel is located 3 blocks from the historic plaza of Quito. The area is easy to walk around and many of the sites are within 3 blocks. The room was spacious and had everything I needed. The building is restored and unique. It has a roof terrace, a set aside area to read and enjoy a beverage and the restaurant had excellent food. The rate was very reasonable and the staff is very helpful.

10.0Lovely hotel in perfect location. Staff was very attentive and super friendly. The breakfast is amazing!! Make sure you uave enough time for it :) Would definitely stay there again if we were to go back to Quito.

6.0The good: It's beautiful--the outside, the lobby, the rooftop, the other common areas, the room, the bathroom. Everything. The staff is friendly and attentive. The restaurant is excellent. The bad: The walls are paper thin. Hopefully, it's not everyday that someone comes to Quito to spend their entire day and night talking on the phone, but when they do, you will be privy to those phone calls (both ends) as if you were in the room with them. So, not restful. Also, we only had hot water for the shower one of two mornings.
