Very stressful stay causing a serious financial penalty sadly .
2.0Lovely location
− Booked an apartment and was made to pay extra to use the second dormitory. Booking information in booking. Com was misleading and inaccurate. Booking.com responded “There was an error in the rate registered by LA CASA DEL REBOTE for your booking number 5788721795.”. I still had to pay over €200 extra in order to close the case. The owner of the house refused to accept payment with debit or credit card and insisted on cash or Bank Transfer, not easy or what one needs on a holiday break. In summary very stressful 6 days with constant messages and very little understanding. My view is that the price quoted at booking for an apartment of 2 bedrooms for 2 people should be honoured if booked in good faith and if there is an error on the system of which I didn’t feel responsible. While the area has incredible beauty I would recommend one of the many local alternatives in surrounding villages in the hope of having a more understanding and sympathetic host.
