− There was a bath and I had specifically requested for a room with one. After a bath I could not drain the water because I was unable as the plug did not have a chain. Another thing is that there were no instructions available to explain how the coffee machine works.
Great building & location but not enough care
8.0Beautiful location on the river Thames. Fantastic building. Very good bed & spacious room.
− The bathroom sink has absolutely no place to put your toiletries. The entire outside areas are full of spiderwebs! The breakfast is mediocre. No egg dishes, only hard boiled eggs. These small improvements could make the hotel worth its money.
Disappointing, no air conditioning or facilities of any note, no breakfast available. Avoid
1.0The location was good
− There was no air conditioning in the room / hotel and it was 32 degrees outside, the room / hotel was unbearable. They only had one fan and couldn’t source anything else to help us. They offered us a discount as we had paid around £850 for two rooms for one night. Unfortunately they never followed through with the partial refund which is massively disappointing. The hotel has no real facilities, doesn’t offer breakfast and that didn’t appear clear at time of booking. The property is nice, and the location is good but if the temperature is over say 24 degrees you just shouldn’t stay here under any circumstances, as it is so very uncomfortable. We had to leave the hotel and buy two fans ourselves, which makes the lack of refund even more disappointing. In summary a very expensive and disappointing experience. The hotel was recommended by the fat duck which wasn’t particularly helpful.

− Rooms were nice but very basic. No breakfast facilities, previous reviews stated a continental style breakfast but when we enquired we were only offered toast. The whole experience was slightly lacking in something extra considering the price
