8.0It was tucked away nicely but close enough to everything. The only thing I did not like is the Dolly Madison room is very tight quarters. Not really big enough for 2 people.

Home for the night
10.0Great place to stay for cyclists. Right at the start of the Chester Valley trail. Covered storage provided for bikes.

6.0I recognize the age of the property is part of its potential appeal, but my room (303) was quite dated and quite small. More importantly, the room did not have its own temperature controls, instead apparently relying on a property-wide AC unit which was not able to keep up with the oppressive heat during my stay.
A Rare and Historical Gem
10.0Staying at a Colonial Inn is an experience not to be missed. It is an act of love from the owners to keep this place going. The grounds were so peaceful. The restaurant was top notch and affordable. Just and all around special time here. If you're looking for something away from the gentrification come to this supernaturally unique and authentic country Inn. Very romantic.
