10.0The Grey Bull B&B was a very nice surprise. The room was more modern than the pictures on hotels.com suggest. I was expecting something more dated or old fashioned but I was presently surprised. The double room was small, but comfortable and well designed. They ask that you do not eat in your room, but they have a large kitchen/diner for you to use their cutlery and plates. They would even wash up for you! It is perfectly located for Hadrian's wall and Haltwhislte itself was beautiful and had all the necessary amenities. There were also a lot of nice touches, such as a refrigerator with fresh milk for your tea and coffee, a basket of needed bathroom supplies, including plasters! I rarely re-visit places but I will certainly come back here.

10.0Very clean, well furnished accommodation with off street parking. Breakfast was tasty. Hosts extremely helpful and couldn't do enough for us.
