Good stay , but construction made it difficult to enjoy completely
7.0I loved the balcony and the view was gorgeous. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious with a huge jetted tub and walk-in shower. Overall, the staff was nice.
− There was construction going on during the day, which we were not made aware of until we were suddenly hearing a constant loud and very disruptive noise. My husband and I were under the weather for 2 of our 5-days stay and couldn't rest due to the constant sound of drilling and the use of other equipment that felt like it was taking place next door. Then, we felt like we had to leave our room during the day to get any peace. When I called the front desk and asked about it, my concerns seemed to be shrugged off by an afternoon staff member and I was simply told that there was a sign in the lobby. Regardless, it was too late to cancel my reservation without a penalty. Though I know that improvements and construction must be done, it should have been displayed on the website or booking site so customers can make that decision BEFORE booking a room. Other minor things were that there was no closet or coffee-maker.
