Wonderful stay

Christina and her family are wonderful hosts. The room is super clean with an amazing sea view in the balcony. I recommend the breakfast that is local and very good, with fresh orange juice. Eveything is perfect!

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, komfortabel und hatte einen wunderschönen Meerblick. Christina und ihre Familie waren außergewöhnlich freundlich, herzlich und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Die tägliche Reinigung war hervorragend, Parkplätze waren direkt an der Unterkunft vorhanden und die Lage eignet sich perfekt, um Agia Galini zu erkunden. Wir haben uns vom ersten bis zum letzten Tag sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

− Keine. Der steile Anstieg ist typisch für Agia Galini und hat nichts mit der Unterkunft zu tun.

A Warm Welcome and a Memorable Stay in Agia Galini

We had a very pleasant 11-night stay at Avra Rooms. The property is run by a lovely Greek family who made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. The hosts were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and always eager to help with any request, often responding immediately. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and serviced daily throughout our stay. We particularly appreciated the shared balcony area, which offers a lovely sea view and a relaxing place to sit and unwind. Although some of the view is partially blocked by neighbouring buildings, it is still very enjoyable. The location is excellent for exploring Agia Galini. The beach, restaurants, taverns, cafés, and small shops are all within easy walking distance, making it convenient to enjoy the village without needing to drive. Guests should be aware that the return walk to the accommodation involves a fairly steep uphill climb, which may be challenging for those with limited mobility, but it also provides some lovely views over the village and coastline. We also appreciated the traditional Greek hospitality, including the hosts insisting on helping us carry our luggage to our rooms on arrival. Overall, the warm hospitality, cleanliness, comfortable accommodation, and convenient location made a very positive impression on us, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

− There were very few negatives related to the accommodation itself. Parking directly in front of the property is somewhat limited, and availability can vary depending on the time of day. While the shared balcony offers a pleasant sea view, part of the view is obstructed by neighbouring buildings. Additionally, although the village centre, beach, restaurants, and shops are all within walking distance, the return journey involves a fairly steep uphill climb, which may not suit everyone, especially during the hotter parts of the day. Other than these minor points, we found the accommodation and hospitality difficult to fault.

Absolutely wonderful place in Agia Galini. The hosts are just wonderful and nice, the studio is in a very quiet complex above the village. It was not really busy around the houses, maybe it is different in the busy season. I made my own breakfast in the morning, had a water-cooker and a coffee-maker, Christina gave me some of her own olives and olive oil as a gift on top. From here you reach the center with all the restaurants and kafenions in maybe ten minutes down a very steep road. Back up, after dinner it is rather 15 minutes then to get back home. (Depending on your personal fitness ;-))

Ontzettend vriendelijke ontvangst. Het uitzicht was mooi. Fijn om alles te kunnen drogen op t balkon. Erg hygiënisch en schoon.
