− Desserts were very low quality single pieces wrapped individually screams not fresh. Apple pie had a funny taste to it.

Delightful hotel with a rustic lodge vibe and clean modern rooms.
9.0Modern rustic is a good description. The authentic lodge vibe of the woods, with all the things you need to be comfortable and content. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. Great start before heading into the Boundary Waters. Nice folks. Great view of the lake. They also have a dock where you can rent boats or use their paddle bicycles. It's so awesome. They have a nice indoor pool and hot tub area. Pillows and beds were super comfy. I will definitely be back.
