A paradise on earth
10.0Wow, what a place. We are not newcomers to safaris but we were blown away by Kaingo. It may not have as many animals as some other reserves but the animals are in excellent condition and a testament to the fact that conservation is the owners’s first priority. That said, they know how to look after their guests as well. The rooms were wonderful and the cuisine (presented in inimitable fashion) by the wonderful Chef Peter superb. It is the most heavenly place, an oasis of calm, miles from anywhere. Our guide, Dumisani was a walking enclopedia on Bushcraft and all the animals plants etc. I cannot commend Kaingo highly enough. Not cheap by South African standards but worth every penny. “The best place ever” declared all four of our children.
Great Stay
10.0We had a fantastic stay in this great game reserve. The staff are fabulous and couldn't have been more attentive and caring. We food was great and Marcus, the man who looks after your every need, was wonderful. The grounds and gardens are beautiful with a group of warthog wandering around as a mobile decoration. The rooms are very comfortable with everything we needed, a king size bed and an enormous bathroom. The morning and evening game drives were awe inspiring. Our guide was brilliant, he was full of information about the animals, big and small as well as the foliage. Marvelous stay, we will be back!
