9.0Magnifique ryokan de style bungalows et bains privés. En pleine nature, vue sur les arbres et chants d'oiseaux. Calme et à 10 minutes d'une magnifique promenade au bord de la mer. Grande chambre très confortable, petite terrasse privée. Excellents repas.
− J'imagine que la plupart des touristes étrangers sont soulagés de pouvoir parler anglais mais, quant à moi, je trouve un peu dommage qu'on engage des étrangers pour parler aux étrangers. Du coup, je trouve que ça fait un peu parias (il y avait 2 salles à manger: on a vu des japonais se rendre à l'autre tandis qu'on n'était quasi que des étrangers dans celle où on était...) Et donc, pour l'immersion... on repassera...
Good onsens and food, concerning bug problems with bedroom.
5.0The plentiful hot springs were enjoyable to try. The breakfast and dinner were elevated and enjoyable, however it was a bit difficult to eat the grilled fish as the bones are left in.
− Large insects in bedroom. For a $400-$500 USD stay it is unacceptable to have multiple large insects crawl into your bedroom, especially when sleeping on the floor. We lost peace of mind and sleep due to a 3 inch spider scurrying around the walls at night. I woke up to a large centipede next to my head beside my pillow. We also had to kill other large bugs with our towels… The forest setting is great until you realize the bedrooms aren’t actually sealed from insects.
