Lovely short stay
9.0Room was clean & well presented. Everything you need for a short stay. Breakfast was excellent and cooked to order. Drinks at the bar were a good price, too. Didn't eat here in the evening, but the food coming out looked great. Plenty of free parking.

It was Ok. I didn't eat in the pub as they made no effort when I arrived so I had to drive around.
7.0Room was clean, well proportioned and had decent shower. Air con was installed.
− No food available when I arrived, which was a sunset evening. Alos, there was nothing that could be done for me as I left the next morning before breakfast could be served. Not even a croissant or cereals.

8.0The room seemed rather small but that was because the bed was so huge! The bed was SO comfortable that I didn't want to get up in the morning! Lovely bedding and towels. Air-conditioning was a real bonus. Even though the room was right by the pub, it was quiet nevertheless. Close to where I parked my car so it was easy getting luggage in & out. The bathroom was small but perfectly functional. However, the bottom of the shower door and screen could have been a lot cleaner. The staff were excellent and seemed to genuinely care about their guests. I had an evening meal in the pub, which seemed expensive for the portion size, but was delicious. The cooked breakfast in the morning was again small but cooked to order and of very high quality. I had an idea where the Honingham Buck is, which was lucky due to the upgrading of the A47. My SatNav was really struggling. If driving from Norwich westwards it's easy to find but if travelling west to east it may be better to drive through Mattishall and the villages. It's well worth persevering to find "The Buck" and I will definitely stay again.
