− A 2 bedroom unit with queen bedding in each PLUS a further queen bed in lounge in lieu of lounge suite. After a long road journey it would have nice to sit down on lounge seating and relax and watch some television. But not to be. Also couldn’t get any main stream tv channels on TV. No written instructions available.
Disappointing
3.0The location was good, but didn't substantiate the per night price.
− We arrived at the scheduled check‑in time, but the door code provided did not work. We then spent almost two hours trying to gain access—calling the listed mobile number, sending text messages, leaving voicemails, contacting the main number for the complex, and even trying the caretaker. Eventually, we received a call back and were remotely let in. Though couldn't lock the door again after that if we went out. The unit itself is very basic. There is no lounge area—just a daybed positioned behind the dining table, directly in front of the TV. For a $600‑per‑night stay, the space felt bare, with no small touches or basic essentials. When I raised the issues, I was offered a late checkout—which wasn’t useful as I needed to leave early—and a 50% discount on a future night. Given the experience, this wasn’t a meaningful resolution, and I would not choose to stay again. I have stayed in Byron many times, would not stay again based on value for money poor communication.
